Eligibility for InsureYo Sign Up.
Any Ugandan resident aged 18-65 years who belongs to a registered Microfinance/Sacco can become a client of InsureYo by signing up at the branch next to you. You can insure an unlimited number of family members 1-65 years. Family Members include, Spouse and/or Biological children. You need to add a Next of Kin to your registration details when registering
Products
Life Cover: An insurance policy that covers one against any bodily harm such as accidents, medical illness' etc.
Funeral Cover: An insurance Policy that covers one against death.
Non-Life Cover: An Insurance Policy that cover the
Benefits.
An insured client can claim benefits for their cover in relation to the specific package at the time of purchase. The policy is active for a period of 1 year.
The benefits are classified in the categories below;
- Platinum
- Gold
- Sliver
- Bronze
Claims:
To claim, simply walk to your microfinance/sacco and an agent will assist you with the necessary process for submitting documentation. Customers cannot claim more than once for any event, except for hospital covers; Claims must be reported within 6 months of the loss or event.
Activation:
Your InsureYo policy is active from the date of full payment and will be active upto a period of one year after which it will expire.
Term:
Benefits begin on the date of full payment of preferred cover and expire after a period of 12 calendar months starting from the date of premium payments by the customer.
Exclusions:
You cannot claim if any of the covered risks occurs as a result of the use of drugs, alcohol, engaging in criminal activity, riots, demonstrations, suicide, self-inflicted injury, war or terrorism.
Personal Data:
All customer information collected will be held securely by InsureYo. InsureYo may share customer data with third parties for the purposes of policy administration and communications.
InsureYo is a product of the Insurance Training College of Uganda located in Kampala Uganda and regulated by the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda.
